A tiny tournament

Find your
Top 20 movies.

One duel at a time. Pick the film you prefer, toss out what's bad or unseen, and watch a ranking of your all-time favorites emerge from IMDb's Top 250.

Set aside about 20 minutes. The first duels feel slow while the algorithm learns your taste; matchups then get sharper and sharper, and a short finals round settles the exact order of your Top 20.

Step 1 of 2

Which films
do you love?

This step matters far more than it looks. The duels draw from IMDb's Top 250, and that list is very subjective: there's a real chance it simply doesn't contain the films you love most.

So take two or three minutes here and add every film that could possibly belong in your Top 20: favorites, childhood classics, guilty pleasures, all of it. Every title you add joins the tournament, whether it's in the Top 250 or not. The more you list, the more the final ranking is truly yours instead of IMDb's.
